Mountain Horse Sovereign High Rider

So after the rather naughty Sprocker pup decided to chew my last pair of riding boots that had last me 6 years, I had to go find some new boots...

This venture proved to me that there bugger all decent brown boots that don't look either like they'd been sewn together by the horse himself, or were notorious for falling apart after 3 weeks.

Admittedly, I had never bought a Mountain Horse product before as I always a bit of a brand snob BUT after hearing nothing but good things about these boots; I popped myself down to RB Equestrian in Milton Keynes and spent about 30 minutes getting fitted (I have short but narrow legs which is not great for being a rider.) I ended up being fitted with their Regular/Narrow fit, which was the best they could do. Although they still sit high on me now, I cannot fault them (I cant help being a short arse!) I picked the two tone brown as I had a girly moment and liked the patent bit, there is 3 colours to pick from.

They're worn out showing and competing but also for everyday schooling and clinics. The leather is super supple, but hardy enough to not feel like they're going to flop. That's the way I always test a decent leather boot, If after the first try on, they can still hold them selves up, they will be fine!

I've now had them for 3 months and I don't think at this stage I will be changing from the Mountain Horse boots any time soon! They were also Best in Test for Horse & Rider Mag in 2019.

They RRP at £299.00 (There are loads of good deals online If you want to get fitted and grab yourself a 20% off bargain)
